Mister Sierra Romeo starts this set unpatched. Always nice to see him take off with a blank slate. Getting to see and enjoy the process of building up a live set. He guides us to an unknown place, like a modular ninja. Certainly one of his more experimental live sets.

There’s possibly only darkness in the beginning of his set. Sound flow like waves from under a pile of fallen leaves. Rising above the darness we drive towards an open space where all come to dance until dawn.

Always something different is never the same is Stefan Robbers’ motto on his modular.

Over the years. Stefan performed as Sierra Romeo to do combine modular synthesis with a live approach. The show is different every time. For this this, held in Rotterdam and part of the Noodlebar series, he brought a Simmons SDS-V drum synthesizer, and analog delays with him to add a bit of gritty 80s atmosphere to the music.
