We had the chance to quickly try out the Empirical Labs Distressor. This is a mono compressor with special features like a nuke setting for the compression ratio and two harmonic distortions, high pass filter in the detection circuit and much more. We show you how audio sounds run through it, and finally we do a comparions with the UAD software Distressor. All audio can be downloaded in high quality as well if like to listen yourself.
